Abandoned Messengers House | Movie Set

Also Known As: Horror movie film set, "the messengers house"
Type: Film set
Built: 2006
Closed: 2008
Last known status: Abandoned
The abandoned messengers movie set in Saskatchewan looks like a beautiful old large prairie mansion with a wrap around porch, but indeed is not what it seems. It is actually a movie set, built for exterior shots for the movie "the messengers". The house was built cheap and the interior was empty as they used sound stages, likely in Regina. The movie also used shots that included the original barn on site.

There was also an original farmhouse on site. It is a two story house that had been abandoned for many years. It was not used in the movie. House built specifically for the movie.
Interior is mostly empty and unfinished as they used sound stages for interior shots.
