If you love abandoned houses or buildings made of stone, then you will love this house! The Parker house is a beautiful abandoned two storey home in Saskatchewan. It is a craftsman style inspired home built by two brothers from Ontario. Each brother had a different vision for the home so they combined their ideas to create a very unique home. One brother did two of the exterior walls and the fireplace in carefully cut and shaped stones while the other brother did the remaining exterior walls in rough unshaped stones. All the stones were collected from fields nearby. The home features a beautiful stone fireplace and gorgeous wood trim, on a beautiful property surrounded by trees. We have visited the Parker house in all types of weather. In 2021 we visited during the winter while there was fog and gorgeous thick frost on the trees. We were able to drone this experience and shared it in a video. Check it out at the bottom!! The homes exterior walls remain strong against the elements. The porch overhang is barely hanging on as some of the supports are missing. The home also has much more vandalism due to online exposure.
