In 2008 we were able to document the exterior & interior of the location. There were no signs, the gate was open and there were stairs leading up the radome. It was owned by the R.M but clearly not cared for. It wasn't long after we visited the stairs were cut out and a grate was installed to prevent anyone from entering the radome. In 2017 we decided to make a return visit as it had been ten years. We pulled up and the gates were open, and a few vehicles were nearby the dome - work was being done. That is when we met the boys from the Canadian Civil Defence Museum Association. They told us that they purchased the dome in hopes to restore it for tours. They gave us another tour of the building and we are excited to be members of this association.
