Mineral Mining | SK

Type: Sodium Sulphate Mine
Built:                     Age:
                     Closed: 2001
Last known status: Demolished 2015
There are many mines around, all mining various things. In the south most of the mining is for coal however there is alot of potash and sodium sulphate around the province and up north they mine for gold and diamonds. When a mine runs out of resources of the resources are no longer needed in a large supply the mines are forced to shut down. We have seen this in various places around the province. Most of the mines are cleaned up and nothing remains, however there are a few left and this is one such example.
